Description: An R. S. V. P. card and invitation book announcing the marriage of Nicole Chardine and Jean-Louis Pesle. The R. S. V. P. card identifies Sabine Chardine and Madame Alfred Pesle as the hosts and states that the reception will take place after the religious ceremony on June 25th. The book presents the invitation from the Chardines first, and then the invitation from Madame Pesle. Both invitations state that the marriage ceremony will take place at the Church of Saint-Denis on June 25th.

[Telegram from the Dawson Automobile Club of America to D. W. Kempner, August 1, 1952]

Description: Telegram sent by the Dawson Automobile Club of America via Western Union to D. W. Kempner confirming that red plates must be used in France. They tell him that aluminum numbers are usually used and that "bright chrome numbers" would cost extra. They also state that plate frames must await the arrival of the car in France, and ask for further instructions.
