Description: Reply by the Black Coalition on Mass Media (BCMM) to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regarding a dismissal of the KAPE radio license. In prior records, the BCMM filed a petition to get KAPE radio off the air, criticizing the San Antonio broadcasters for their poor track record with the African-American community. According to the document, this petition was blocked by KAPE on grounds of being untimely filed. It is the intention of this particular document to refute KAPE and persuade the FCC to accept their original petition.
