Description: Patent for a new and improved water-heater. This design consists in "the combination of the supply-pipe, the supply-tank into which said pipe discharges, the said tank having a perforated bottom through which the water percolates, the vertically-divided cylinder forming the annular heating-chamber, the scatter-plates alternatingly located in diverse directions in said chamber, the said plates arranged to spray the water while heating as it falls from plate to plate, and the exhaust-steam pipe that discharges through an open port near the base of said annular heating-chamber" (lines 19-31).
