[Quit Claim Deed and Plat Print from George Bigford to Edward B. Leigh]

[Declaration of Trust Created by George L. Leigh]

Description: Declaration of trust created by George L. Leigh acknowledging that George has placed in trust all the property on the land owned, technically, by Edward B. Leigh though George "has been in the possession of it." According to the document Edward furnished the money for which the land was originally acquired; this document was meant to "furnish ample evidence to said Edward B. Leigh of his rights in the premises, to fully and effectually establish his ownership to all of said property."

[Two Drafts of a Memorandum of Contract Between Three Couples and Richard Nowlin]

Description: Memorandum of contract between Mr. and Mrs. Bonnell, Mr. and Mrs. Dickey, and Mr. and Mrs. Liljegren of the first party, and Richard and R. W. Nowlin of the second. The members of the first party "agree to sell and convey unto Richard and R. W. Nowlin the following real estate situated in Kerr County, Texas" including 500 acres from the James E. Bettner survey; in return, Nowlin will pay "twenty four dollars per acre" with one fourth being in cash and the remainder in three promissory notes.

[Articles of Agreement Between Edward B. Leigh and W. D. C. Burney, March 1, 1887]

Description: Articles of agreement prepared "by and between W. D. C. Burney...and Edward B. Leigh of St. Louis Mo." This agreement was for the sale of a piece of land for the sum of four hundred dollars; W. D. C. Burney promises to "make and deliver to the said E. D. Leigh, a good and sufficient deed."

[Deed of Trust from George L. Leigh to Paul Villaret and Joseph Heinen, February 4, 1891]

[Land Contract Between Jay McCoy and Miss May F. A. Huntoon]

Description: Land contract between Joy McCoy and Miss F. A. Huntoon, in which McCoy agrees to sell "to the party of the second part all that certain tract or parcel of land which the said Jay McCoy purchased from J. R. Herndon." Huntoon agrees to pay $2,800 for the land with $500 in the form of a "Second Liberty Loan Coupon Bond" and the rest when the deed is delivered.
