Texas and Pacific Railway Terminal

Description: Photograph of the Texas and Pacific Terminal at Main and Front Streets in Fort Worth, Texas taken from a postcard. It opened on Dec 16, 1889. The red brick building with a fountain in a foreground was designed by architect O.H. Lang. It served Fort Worth until 1931, when a new larger terminal opened.

[Cincinnati Union Station]

Description: One of the nation's greatest railroad terminals, the Cincinnati Union Station, March 1933. This terminal was designed to accommodate, daily, 17,000 people and 216 trains (108 inbound and 108 outbound). This station has eight platforms serving 16 tracks. Each platform has length of 1,600 feet. This terminal represents a total investment in excess of forty-one million dollars.

[League Park During the Holiday Season]

Description: Photograph of League Park during League City's Christmas Eve in the Park event in December. A brick aisle nestled between some shrubs lead to the park fountain. Beyond the fountain, some tents have been set up. Festive holiday touches are slightly visible; there is a candy cane decoration sticking out of a bush as well as red ribbons attached to the each of the light poles.
