Description: Letters to and from Dr. Meyer Bodansky, dated July 4, 1939 and July 7, 1939. The earlier letter is from a sender signed as "Neil"; it requests that Dr. Bodansky send him a letter of recommendation so he can send it along with his transcripts to the University of Chicago Medical School for admission. The second letter is from Dr. Bodansky to Dr. B. C. H. Harvey at the University of Chicago. The letter was written on behalf of C. L. Herrmann, and requests that Dr. Harvey assist him financially with his studies in Chemistry and Medicine.
