[Dr. Ted Colson]

Description: Photograph of Dr. Ted Colson. He was a professor of communication studies at the University of North Texas from 1956 to 1993. He received his BA from Drury College and his MA and PhD from the University of Oklahoma. He was the head of the Radio/Television/Film division during the 1960s and was instrumental in the development of KNTU, the campus radio station. He was awarded the Shelton Excellence in Teaching Award for the school year 1986-1987.
