Description: Patent for a new and improved brace-wire fastening for wire fences. This design consists "[i]n a fence, the combination, with the panel wires, of the braces with their ends hooked upon one and the same side of the upper and lower panel-wires, and said braces being stepped to receive and applied to the opposite side of the intermediate panel-wires, and the tri-armed or T-shaped clasps with their arms embracing the panel-wires and the braces at their points of intersection" (lines 81-89).
