[Postcard: Divine Art Auction]

Description: Postcard inviting the recipient to visit an exhibition of divine art to be auctioned at the Mexic-Arte Museum in Austin, Texas. The Auction Party was held on December 14th, 1996. Divine art to be auctioned included "contemporary & traditional Retablos and Ex-votos," or votive paintings. The front of the postcard, which is blue in color, features a drawing of the Virgin Mary clasping her hands in prayer.

The photo on the reverse side shows the ruins of the Burdick House after a fire burned it down on December 9, 1909 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The building is almost completely destroyed, most of the area is covered in smoke while three firemen are standing in a ground talking together.
