Description: Official funeral program for Judge Morris Lee Overstreet born July 10, 1950. Judge Overstreet was Assistant City Attorney of Potter County and presiding judge of Potter County Court. Judge Overstreet was nominated as the first African American elected to a statewide position in Texas since Reconstruction. Overstreet practiced law in various cities within Texas, taught at Texas Southern University, and lifetime member of the NAACP. Overstreet died March 3, 2024.
