1924 Confirmation Class

Description: Photograph of the 1924 Danevang Ansgar Lutheran Church confirmation class, consisting of a group of adolescent boys and girls. They are standing on the front steps of the church, wearing formal attire and separated into rows by gender, with the girls in the front and the boys in the back. Additionally, there is an unidentified man behind the boys standing in front of a set of double doors. The girls, from left to right, have been identified as Marie Brodsgaard, Dagny M. Hansen, Ester Juhl, and Esther Knudsen. The boys have been identified from left to right as Hans F. Hansen, Ejolf Larsen Wind, J. C. Theodor Jensen, Harry Lauritsen, and Eddie Petersen.

1924 Confirmation Class

Description: Photograph of the 1924 Danevang Ansgar Lutheran Church confirmation class, consisting of a group of adolescent boys and girls separated into two rows. The back row is composed of the boys, who wear similar dark three-piece suits. The front row consists of the girls, who wear light-colored dresses. Their hair has been styled in short bobs. Names have been provided, but have been matched properly in another photograph where they were in different positions (see note).

Martin & Lizzie Christiansen Golden Wedding (?)

Description: Photograph of a group of people standing close together on the front steps of Danevang Community Hall. According to accompanying information, they are at the wedding of Martin and Lizzie Christiansen, who possibly could be the two individuals pictured in the center with the large bouquet of flowers. Other names have been provided, but they have not been matched to any one individual. The community hall behind them is a large two-story structure with horizontal siding and several windows. An open entryway can be seen far left.

Description: Black and white photograph of a family standing together outdoors for a holiday portrait. They are all wearing formal attire. According to handwritten notes on the back of the photograph, the woman wearing the white dress and the man wearing the three piece suit that are standing on the right are Niels M. Hansen and Emma Nielsen Hansen, the patriarch and matriarch of the pictured family. Their son George, visible between them from the chest up, is standing behind them. Their youngest son Alfred and his wife Ima are standing on the left. Two young boys, identified as Leo and Clifford, are standing in the front on the left; they are part of the Allenson family.
