Description: Photocopy of an essay on how the Dellana family came to reside in Rollingwood, Texas. Castro talks about Condado Dellana's immigration from Italy to the United States and how he eventually moved to Texas to help build the capitol building in Austin. Years later, Condado discovered a cave in Rollingwood that produced extremely good fertilizer due to the guano from the bats that lived in the cave. He eventually bought the property that the cave was on and started selling the fertilizer to nurseries around the state.
