The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Thomas Jordan. Jordan joined the Navy on 15 December 1941. Beginning February of 1942, he served on the deck force and as aviation mechanic aboard the USS Wichita (CA-45). In March, they were assigned to Task Force 39, to reinforce the British Home Fleet based in Scapa Flow. In November, they participated in the Naval Battle of Casablanca.
