The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Michael Jewett. Jewett was inducted into the Army in August of 1943. He completed Officer Candidate School in January of 1944. He was sent to Fort Bragg, North Carolina to the replacement training center as an instructor for basic officer training.
