[Letter and Transcript from Walter Baurgaeten to Meyer Bodansky - June 4, 1941]

Description: Letter and transcript from the editor of the Missouri State Medical Association Walter Baurgaeten to Dr. Meyer Bodansky. The letter, which is date June 4, 1941, states that the transcript of the portion of the round table discussion of the Annual Session meeting that Dr. Bodansky participated in is enclosed. The letter thanks Dr. Bodansky and also asks him to make any corrections and send it back to the editor before it is published. The discussion includes several different topics in medicine, particularly the treatment and diagnosis of rat bite fever. Several handwritten notations and corrections made by Dr. Bodansky are visible on all of the pages.

[Correspondence between Oscar Bodansky, A. J. Goldforb, and Meyer Bodansky - May-June 1941]

Description: Letters between Dr. A. J. Goldforb, Oscar Bodansky, and Rose Framer on behalf of Dr. Meyer Bodansky. All of the letters concern Dr. Meyer Bodansky, who at the time was in the hospital recovering from a critical illness. The first letter is from Dr. Bodansky's brother Oscar Bodansky to Dr. A. J. Goldforb, and is dated June 12, 1941. The letter is a response to a previous letter received from Goldforb on behalf of Dr. Meyer Bodansky. The second letter is a handwritten invitation from Dr. Goldforb to Dr. Bodansky to accompany him and his daughter to New York City; it is dated June 7, 1941. The third letter, which is dated May 8, 1941, informs Dr. Bodansky that Dr. Goldforb and his daughter will be in Galveston soon and wish to meet with him. The last letter is from Rose Framer on behalf of Dr. Bodansky; it is dated May 15, 1941. The letter acknowledges the receipt of a previous letter that Dr. A. J. Goldforb sent to Dr. Bodansky.

Cain. Funeral arrangements were made through Sutton-Sutton Mortuary, Inc. and he was buried in Meadowlawn Memorial Park in San Antonio, Texas.
