Hanging of John Quincy Adams Crews

Description: A large group of unidentified people are at the Denton County Jail located on Elm Street awaiting the hanging of J. Q. A. Crews. Crews was the last person to be hanged in Denton County. He was hanged for the murder of the Murrell family in Cooke County.
