Description: Photograph of the interior of a small grocery store, with shelves of groceries on the right and left walls, and shorter display racks in the center of the room. At the back of the room is a glass-encased counter and some large refrigerator units against the back wall, one of which has a sign saying, "Ask for Metzger's Milk & Butter." At the front, just barely visible, is an L-shaped counter with piles of products on it. There are handwritten notes on the back about the name and location of the store, as well as the year it was taken.

Description: Photograph of the exterior of a small, brick strip of storefronts with a rigid shop awning and a sign hung perpendicular to the building face, taken from across an empty street (which runs parallel to the shops). Desmond's Grocery, the larger store on the left, has two glass doors and three large glass windows, one of which has the shop name on it. The other store is W. G. Ray Dry Goods and Notions, which has one glass window with the name on it, and a glass door. There is another, shorter building, just barely visible to the left. There are handwritten notes on the front and back of the photo with information about the date, location, and photographer.
