Description: Photograph of a firefighter climbing up a ladder onto the roof of a smoking building, where three other firefighters are waiting. Three fire hoses are draped over the side of the building and back down to one of the fire engines parked in the street. The other fire engine is only partially visible on the right. Description: Photograph of refugees. These refugees are loading their personal belongings onto this truck. The truck that they are using belonged to Longwell Transfer Inc. Longwell Transfer was an auto baggage truck transfer located at 116-18 San Francisco in 1917. Most of the refugees were taken to the large refugee camp located inside of Fort Bliss.
