The Calypso, HemisFair's amusement park ride

Description: Brightly colored carnival ride called the Calypso, that has both heart shaped windows and curls with vanity lights. The ride is made of round containers that are large enough for 4 people with an umbrella in the center. They revolve independently while going up and down at angles for the length of the ride.

Description: A lagoon cruise boat filled with visitors passing through Fiesta Island during one of the entertainment water shows. Many of the fair's attendees are shown in the background sitting in bleachers or standing on the balcony of a nearby building watching the water show which consists of professional water skiers jumping off ski ramps. Also visible in this photograph is the HemisFair Arena, which was constructed for HemisFair '68.
