[Men's Gymnasium]

Description: Photograph of the Men's Gymnasium on W Highland St across from where the Coliseum now stands. Men can be seen working on the roof. Several cars are parked by the curb. The text "B B 5014 - B" can be seen in the bottom left of the image. The gym is also known as “the pit.” The gym opened December 1, 1950, with a seating capacity of 4,500. The opening of this facility allowed spectators other than students to attend games and other programs. It was renamed the Ken Bahnsen Gym in 2005.
