Texas Slave Cases

Description: A document composed of brief descriptions of all cases in Texas where the enslaved served as plaintiffs, victims, property, or criminal defendants. The list was compiled by a criminal defense attorney who wanted to help historians with their research into legal cases involving enslaved people in Texas.
