This design "relates to improvements in sash-locks, the object in view being to provide a cheap and simple arrangement adapted to be applied to the ordinary upper and lower unbalanced sashes and to so construct said device as to form a convenient means for operating the upper sash without the necessity of reaching uncomfortably therefor and to be able to lock said sash against movement in either direction at any point of elevation.
