Description: Postcard of an illustrated plan of the Suez Canal in Port Said, Egypt. The drawing depicts the canal running through multiple bodies of water and leading into a bay with several boats. Mountains populate the landscape that surrounds the canal. On the backside of the postcard is handwriting in pencil. The name of the postcard's publisher Isaac Behar is vertically printed. This postcard was kept by geologist and explorer Victor Oppenheim during his global travels.

Description: Postcard of a crowded beach with many swimmers in the ocean and brightly colored umbrellas lining the shore. The message on the back reads, "Hello everybody - hope Ciel is feeling much better - we're on the bus going from Port Saed to Cairo - Very colorful but very pretentious and hot.n See you soon, Patrick." The postcard is addressed to "Mrs. Carroll Ward 1906 McFaddin Beaumont, Texas U. S. A. 777."
