[50 year anniversary of Lone Star Gas]

Description: Photograph of an advertisement for Lone Star Gas. The advertisement is in a triangle shape and along the sides of the triangle is a white strip with the words "Magic Flame of Progress 1909 50 Golden Years 1959" inside of it. In the middle of this white strip is a darker triangle that has black lines shooting out of a star in the center that has the words "Lone Star Gas" under it. This star has tear drop shapes that are filled in with a gradient of four colors in each point of the star.

1924 Confirmation Class

Description: Photograph of the 1924 Danevang Ansgar Lutheran Church confirmation class, consisting of a group of adolescent boys and girls. They are standing on the front steps of the church, wearing formal attire and separated into rows by gender, with the girls in the front and the boys in the back. Additionally, there is an unidentified man behind the boys standing in front of a set of double doors. The girls, from left to right, have been identified as Marie Brodsgaard, Dagny M. Hansen, Ester Juhl, and Esther Knudsen. The boys have been identified from left to right as Hans F. Hansen, Ejolf Larsen Wind, J. C. Theodor Jensen, Harry Lauritsen, and Eddie Petersen.

1924 Confirmation Class

Description: Photograph of the 1924 Danevang Ansgar Lutheran Church confirmation class, consisting of a group of adolescent boys and girls separated into two rows. The back row is composed of the boys, who wear similar dark three-piece suits. The front row consists of the girls, who wear light-colored dresses. Their hair has been styled in short bobs. Names have been provided, but have been matched properly in another photograph where they were in different positions (see note).

[1928 Ahavath Sholom Confirmation Class]

Description: Photograph of the 1928 Ahavath Sholom confirmation class standing on the altar (called a bimah) of the synagogue located downtown in the 800 block of Taylor Street in Fort Worth, Texas. From left to right, the confirmands are: Rebecca Luskey, Cecile Bodzy, Martha Daiches, Mrs. Abraham Bengis (teacher), Rabbi Abraham Bengis, Esther Klimist, Sally Kruger, Sarah Garston. Behind the confirmands is a replica of the Ten Commandments which rests above the curtained ark, which houses the Torah scrolls. In front of the dais is a seven-branched menorah.

Description: Photograph of the 1977 North Texas State University Lab Band album cover. The top consists of a satyr playing a pan flute among winged cherubs, and above four rectangular openings. Each opening has some sort of mythical, partially bovine creature drawn in it, and below each door is the mnemonic "All Cows Eat Grass" - used to remember the notes for bass clef spaces.
