Dinkie received their letter on Christmas eve and her mother was proud of her gift. They went to Bettie's for Christmas and saw a lot of people. Then they went to Tobe Franklin's house for a dance. There was a concert at the new school house a week before Christmas. Mr. Moore had mentioned a lot of people were visiting Tennessee and she wants them to visit. Mrs. Jones has rheumatism.
