1926 Schreiner Mountaineers Football Squad

Description: Photograph of the 1926 Schreiner Institute Football Squad and their coach H. C. Gilstrap. The players' names and positions are written on the image. The squad played an undefeated season of 10 games against opposing schools from all over Texas including Texas Tech, St. Mary's, Sul Ross and McMurray. Their team photograph and season record are featured in the 1927 Recall Yearbook.

Description: Postcard from Blanche S. to Mr. and Mrs. Jack M., giving her best wishes and saying she'll be homes in a few days. The front of the postcard features a photograph of Ye Kendall Inn, in Boerne, a long, two-story plantation style house with porches on both stories and a screened-in sun room on the far left side. The gravel driveway that runs parallel to the house is lined with trees, and has two automobiles parked on it. The name of the house is printed at the bottom of the postcard.
