NIGHT CLUB WRECKED BY TERRIFIC BLAST

MEN DIG IN RUINS, LONG
A mysterious explosion blasts apart a night club
on East Belknap Street in the Eastern section of
Fort Worth. Paul's Club, formerly the Parrish Inn,
is levelled by the blast. The explosion came at
about 3:30 this morning. Debris is blown across
Belknap street to the north and across Harper street
to the East. The concussion damages businesses and
homes in the area sending two persons to the
hospital for treatment of minor injurie s.
Fire follows the explosion and burns the remains
of the wood-and-stucco building. The blast was
heard over much of Fort Worthfs east side*
A report that the club porter sometimes sleeps in
the building sends firemen and others probing the
ruins• But no body is found.
