School and is a Junior student
at Hardin Simmons University.
He is a member of Alpha Kap-
pa Psi business fraternity and
a member of the golf team.
After a wedding trio to Aus-
tin and Houston, they will
make their home in Abilene.
The reception hosted by the
bride’s mother, was held in
Fellowship Hall of the church.
The rehearsal dinner was held
at Cliff House and was hosted
by the parents of the bride-
groom.

with a bridal shower in the
Faith Lutheran Church Base-
ment at Sagerton July 10. Mrs.
Lewis Corzine registered ap-
proximately fifty guests.
They were greeted by the
groom’s mother. Mrs. Herbert
Nierdieck, r,f Sagerton. the
bride, and her mother, Mrs.
Robert Reeves of Lueders, and
her sister.
Mrs. Larry Stremmel poured
punch and served cookies from
a table of white over pink,
centered with a pink carnation
arrangement, using crystal and
silver appointments.

Mr. and Mrs. George W.
Powell of Llano are the par-
ents of the bride. The bride-
groom is the son of Mrs. J.
K. French of Tuxedo and the
late Mr. French.
Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy K.
French are both employed by
the Killeen Independent School
District and will make their
home in Killeen.
