DIGGIN ' UP THE PAST LEADS To
DISRUPTION IN THE FUTURE.
Advice: " If you die for the truth and find it, you cannot bury
it just because you don't like it."
One often wonders about himself in everyday life, and there-
fore, hunts the truth about his individual character. In this
search for your own self, you often find that it is not very
pleasing. Oops! I shouldn't talk about other people because I
do not know about them. So I shall point the finger at myself,
leaving you and others the challenge of making this search on
your own.
I myself have had a lot of different views on a lot of
things about myself many of which were misleading. One of my
main problems was that I always said that I was not prejudiced
but I never felt that way! I always said that I would put my
faith in God and never let no human hurt my feelings because I
was not living for the grace of man. It wasn't until my teen-
aee years that I found out that many of may outward actions
didn't come from within. And when I found that out, I didn't
want to face reality.
This discovery brought out a lot in me that I still don't
want to admit. I found this advice to be true. Take it from
me; if you have the nerve enough to die for the truth about
yourself, always remember that once you dig it up you can't
bury it because you don't like it. From my own dieein. I found
out that I can often present myself spotless to the world, yet
be one of the dirtiest people in the world on the inside.37
