finance have succeeded in securing
almost the sutu of $300 pledged for
prizes and premiums, and a glorious
time will be had The exercises are
planned to extend thoughout three
days including July 3rd, 4th and 5th
and each day will be filled with un-
usual attractions. The programme
will include foot and horse racing
tournament contests, sack races
climbing greased poles, catching
greased pigs, and *lher amusing

Some trouble has again broken out in
Collingsworth county because of conflicts
over tbe land law. It is in the Rocking
Chair pasture.

third Sunday in July, when a camp-meet
ing may be undertaken.
Workmen have commenced to dig down
to the broken pipe in the well at Panhan-
dle City andas soon as it is found the well
will be sunk further down.
Brand burning has been going on toa
considerable extent in Gray , and other
counties and last week several parties
