33rd DALLAS COUNTY PAINTING, DRAWING AND SCULPTURE EXHIBITION
April 15 through May 13, 1962
SPECIAL NOTICE: RECEIPT OF ENTRIES
Days and hours for receiving entries must be observed as follows:
Saturday, March 31 - 9 am to 5 pm
Sunday, April I    - 2 pm to 6 pm
Entries must be delivered to the SERVICE ENTRANCE on the northwest
corner of the Museum next to the big parking lot.
JURY
Mitchell Wilder - Director at the Amon Carter Museum, Fort Worth
Hobson Pittman - American artist and teacher at the Pennsylvania Academy
Ishmael H. Soto - Texas sculptor and craftsman
ELIGIBILITY
Residents of Dallas County 20 years of age or over ( or high school gra-
duates ) are eligible. Temporary residence of six months or less pre-
cludes participation in the competition.
PRIZES

ENTRIES
Artists qualifying under requirements set out above may submit the followings
2 works in either painting or sculpture or a combination of 1 painting and
1 sculpture
and
2 drawings in any medium (except pastel which should be submitted as a
painting medium)
GENERAL INFORMATION
All works submitted must be original; copies or work done with assistance
or supervision are ineligible. Works previously exhibited at the Museum
are excluded. Paintings must be framed (woodstrip: minimum requirement);
watercolors framed and under glass; and drawings matted but not framed.
Notices will be sent out immediately after the competition has been judged.
Rejected works must be picked up as soon as possible at the service entrance.
The Museum will charge a 10% commission on sales made during the exhibition.
PLEASE REMEMBER
Entry cards must be completely filled out. DO NOT detach sections of the
entry cards. Attach card securely to entry at designated end.
