Armour
Announces for
Justice of Peace
W. C. Armor, local contrac-j
tor and resident of Wood Coun-
ty for forty years, today an-
nounced his candidacy for Jus-
tice of the Peace of Precinct
Two. Mr. Armour's state-
ment to the voters follows:
To the Voters of
Precinct Number Two:
In announcing my candidacy
for Justice of the Peace of
Precinct Number Two, I will:
say I have had strong solicita-
tion to make the race; also I
want the office.
I have lived in this precinct
thirty-five (35) years, and in
the County forty (40) years.
During this time I have; tried
to live a life that my charac-
ter could not be questioned.
Believing I have so lived, I do
not hesitate in asking the peo-
ple for their support.
I am a strict believer in the
enforcement of the laws, and I
will give all matters brought
before me, if I am elected, due
consideration.
I am not asking for this of-
fice on the demerits of any
one; but on my own merits,
and I feel that I am qualified
to fill the office. So I am ask-
ing you to carefully consider
my candidacy.
I am a life-long Democrat.
I will try to see you in per-
son before July 27, 1940.
I will appreciate your sup-
port.
