"Whitie" demonstrated the effects of Mr.
Daniels' coaching by attaining an almost per-
fect form. Being able to make the reverse .4
to the best advantage. He won many places
with the shot and discus and has three more
years in which to become State champion.
'ILTEE CORNELIUS
"Sunshine" had a pet discus which fol-
lowed him to school and everywhere. Also
he played marbles with a shot put. He had a
Great amount of strength and speed and when
in good form took the joy out of life for 0
many ambitious opponents.

Pole Vault and High Jump
"Slats" was a good man at pole vaulting I'
and high jumping and an expert with the W
girls. IIe always managed to tie with some +P ,
one so that they could settle it with a little
game of African golf.
