different offices, at Texas State
College for Women where campus
elections tomorrow will determine
student leaders for next year.
Claudia is a nominee for col-
lege government secretary and
Virgil is running for treasurer.
The twins are the daughters of
Mr. and Mrs. V. B. Dorrell, 504
Fifth Street. They are English
majors and belong to Sigma Tau
Delta, honorary English organiza-
tion.

a party. The occasion was in ob-
servance of the first birthday an-

returned from a week's visit with
friends and relatives in Baton
Rouge, New Orleans and her par-

Melba Corbello, daughter of Mrs.
J. A. Kline, became the bride of
Enoch Shaunfield, son of Mrs,
Alma Shaunfield of Reagan. Tex-

formed Sunday afternoon at three
o'clock In the rectory of Saint
Joseph's Catholic chueh with Rev.
Armand Nandeau officiating.
The bride wore a blue wool suit
with navy cceessories and carried
a white prayer book overlaid with
a shower of multi-colored sweet
peas and satin ribbons. She was
attended by Jenel Granger as
maid of honor who wore a beige
dress and black accessories. Her
corsage was fashioned of large
multi-colored sweet peas.
The groom had as his attendant,
Bill Watts of Lake Chyrles ,.who
served as best ma^n..
The couple left after the cere-
mony fdr Waco, Texas where they
will make their home. The groom
will enter Baylor University as
a student.

through the eight grades of the
Evidge City school. The price is

for the Mardi Gras costume party
to be given tomorrow evening in
the Catholic hall at the meeting
held Friday night. The party will

Landry, Joyce Gantt, Margaret
Cormier, Alvin Toniette Jr., and
Clyde Chesson was appointed to
prepare the hall for the party.
Annie Boureaux, president, re-
minded the group that Sunday,
Feb. 25 was Holy communion day
for the organization.

to accept two new members from
the sophomore boys that are to
