Also, students that accept this privilege may be required
to contribute therefor their services in doing clerical, library,
or other office work under the direction of the faculty as may
be desired by the management, not to exceed a total of four
hours per week.
SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES.
All the work of Abilene Christian College is divided into
four distinct schools:
1. The College of Arts and Sciences, which offers courses
in eleven different departments, and which confers upon the
successful completion of a four year course the Bachelor of
Arts degree.
2. The College of the Bible, which offers a three year
graduate course in biblical fields, the work of which is divided
into nine departments. The work of this college comprises
that for which the Bachelor of Divinity or the Master of Theology
degree is generally conferred.
3. The School of Fine Arts, containing the departments
of Art, Expression, Piano, Violin, and Voice.
4. The Academy, which is a training school covering the
work of the ordinary high school.
As the laboratory of the Department of Education in the
College of Arts and Sciences there is maintained a model
training school for the first seven grades.GENERAL INFORMATION
