Dear Editor:
Just finished reading
Mr. Crandall's letter
concerning the pro-
blem he is having
with loose dogs. I
think its a shame the
way the city officals
have handled this or-
diance. Some of the
residents have put
their dogs up or on a
leash. The rest are
still loose. As the or—
diance stands now, it
is neither fair or le-
gal.
As an example, a
little boy on this street
asked me,"Why he has
to keep his dog jied
To The Editor
and they don't.(mean-
ing two familes a—
cross the street). Now
I would like the City
Council to answer that
question for him. Gen-
tlemen, would you care
to try?
You can call in and
ask if we still have a
leash law, the answer
is a definite yes. If
you report a loose dog
they will come out an<
tell the owner, "youi
neighbor has filed i
complaint on your dog!
They haven't got the
guts to say, "We have
a leash law and we en-
tend to enforce it."
I think it's time to en-
force it ( for all) oi
do away with it entir-
ley. Dont't you?
