of Joshua Fought the Battle of
Jericho the audience was drawn
into the energy of the music.
Towards the end of the song
spontaneous clapping could be
heard.
Buchanan lives with his wife
and three children in Kansas
City. He has been in full time
ministry for 12 years and related to a meeting about music and the
to the audience his own experi- ministry and it was there that he
ence with God's Amazing Grace heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ

alcohol since he was 13 years
old a lifestyle that led him in and
out of mental hospitals and jails.
On Oct. 17 1981 he was invited
