How many do you have?
More than 200 electrical
appliances which provide
conveniences, comforts and
pleasures in and around the home
(we ve listed only about one-fourth
of them) are available today. A
recent survey showed that the
majority of American homes had
at least 15 different electrical
appliances.
Whether you have 15 or 50 in your
home, we believe that your
comparison of the benefits and the
cost of your electric service will
prove that it’s one of today’s really
good buys.

On Management
I guess I'm a born home
economist at heart. Some people
might disagree with that be-
cause I weaken and buy on
impulse on occasion as most
women do! Know ing how to buy
wisely doesn’t always mean we
do that !
Even so. 1 look for new ways
to save money. “Cutting down"
seems to be the key phrase
these days. In fact, it’s rather
fashionable to be a good
manager.
I've always been told that
buying in quanity and buying
something that’s “on sale"
could save money. I put this into
practice a long time ago. just as
many of you probably have.
It occurred to me recently that
I might spend less if I waited
until there was a need present
before I bought something
rather than buying ahead just
because the product was on
sale. Have you ever heard a
husband say “I can’t afford for
my wife to save me anv more
money! ”
You might disagree with this
reasoning, but I think I'll try this
angle for awhile! If you have
money-saving ideas that work
for you, I’d love to hear about
them.

Hack to School Meals
It s Back to School time
again and time to motivate the
family into the breakfast routine
to insure efficient learning a*
school. You may hear "I don't
have time" or ''I'm not hungry"
in the mornings. There are ways
of making the morning meal so
exciting they will want to eat
breakfast. Breakfast doesn’t
have to be bacon and eggs,
though it's certainly favorite
fare. A hamburger can be a
nourishing morning meal if
that's what appeals to your
youngsters.
Pancake batter can be mixed
the night before, kept in the
refrigerator, ready to pour o.i
the griddle in the morning, even
in "shifts", if necessary.
