He says his parents are doing well, but he and his brother are not. He thinks that his letter did not reach Charles or he did not receive Charles' answer. He says that since he is in the country he has no spare time and has made repairs to the house. He needs to do some planting and hopes to get some work in San Antonio to make more repairs. He would like to hear about Charles.
