The booklet contains a brief history of Denton County National Bank's conception and first seventy-five years of operation, including photographs of the thirty-one men who petitioned the Treasury Department in Washington, D.C. for the right to form a national bank in 1892.

For example, the home at the bottom middle, which is 2220 Archer Trail, had its open house debut in early 1964. And a home at 2217 Emerson Lane was also built in June of 1964. The builder for both homes was Charlie Claytor whose office was located in Denton.

According to newspaper articles, Alan graduated from Sanger High School where he had been very athletic and participated in many sports. He got his degree from Austin College in 1974, and was a coach at Howe High School until 1980. Alan married and went to work for the City of Sherman.
