Photograph taken in front of saddler shop of McNabb and Varga in Richmond, Texas. Identified (typed note card on back of photo) as left to right: Alexander D. McNabb, Sr, Paul Pierce, Ludwig Varga. Alexander McNabb died February 20, 1911. Paul Pierce later moved to Childress, Texas, where he had a successful saddler business. Ludwig Varga was a master craftsman as a saddle maker who died about 1914 in Richmond. (This information also on note card on back of photo.) Man on left wearing eyeglasses is dressed in three-piece suit (striped pants) and black hat. Man in middle wearing slacks, apron (dark), white shirt, and tie. Man on right wearing slacks, apron (light), white shirt, and has a pipe. Studded buckles can be see hanging from a table between the two men wearing aprons. Leather strap with buckles neatly looped and tied, hanging on right of photo.
