Lamar County Courthouse Ornamentation

Lamar County Courthouse Photographs

Lamar County Courthouse Shield

Lamar County Courthouse Stairs

The floor is small tile, in a color to match the walls above the wainscot. The wood door near the stairs ends at the top of the wainscot, including detailed finish work. A light fixture is also visible above the landing.

Paris Texas Gibraltar Hotel

Description: Photograph of the upper north west corner of the Gibraltar Hotel, South Main at Austin, in downtown Paris Texas. This building appears to be a style variant of Classic Revival.The building has white columns, consoles, string courses, lentils, and cornice work with added white stone ornamentation, however there are few stone carvings in the photo. The red brick is nicely done with very little pattern work.
