Wardlaw, states that Edward Tieman and his wife were picketing the Dallas County Courthouse on March 9th, 1964. Tieman carried a sign which read "Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible everyone's hope," while his wife carried a sign which read "Psychiatry is not the hope of killers. It tries to mock God and our nation's laws."
