Letter from John Patterson Osterhout to his wife, Junia Roberts Osterhout. He was writing from the State capitol about his time working there. He wrote of his opinion of the Republican Party and wished his wife and family well.

The yellow building is four stories tall and has a domed-shaped tower. There are a couple of trees in front of the yellow building and there is a black, ink smudge across the photo. At the bottom of the picture, J. H. asked whether Junia was back in Belton yet.
