Buddy and Katie Sinclair Dallas, TX, T Patch Memorial

Description: Photograph of L. M. "Buddy" and Katie Sinclair standing beside the memorial that they dedicated in honor of the "Texas" 36th Infantry Division. The soldiers in the division were the first American troops to invade Hitler's Europe at Salerno Beach, Italy on September 9, 1943. Description: Passenger train on the bridge from Rio Jamapa at Tomatlán and is part of the 2ft gauge line of the Ferrocarril Mexicano. This narrow-gauge train, headed by a Consolidation type 2-8-0 Baldwin No. 1 steam locomotive with a diverse consist, carried a Broiler-buffet Sleeping car on the rear-end which provided meal service for Pullman passengers.
