Description: Photograph of General Hugh Lenox. Scott. General Hugh L. Scott (September 22, 1853–April 30, 1934) established his headquarters at Fort Bliss, Texas in 1913. Hugh L. Scott was in charge of the of the El Paso Military District until 1914.

[General Maximo Castillo]

Description: Photograph of General Maximo Castillo. The other intellectual general was Jose Isabel Robles. Castillo would eventually break off from Villa and would operate as a separate fighting force. After the break from Villa, Villa had men sent after him to deal with him. Castillo once captured Villa's wife, Luz Corral. Castillo's specialty was in robbing and taking over trains in which Americans were traveling on. There is a blurred train trestle in the background.

Description: Photograph of a Gringo Machine Gunner. The man firing the machine gun appears to be wearing a United States Army issued uniform. The man is most likely a soldier of fortune being paid by the rebels to aid them in their cause. Description: Photograph of a group of insurrectos posing for a photograph with a group of stacked rifles, right at the forefront. Most of the insurrectos stand with their rifles, except for the man on the ground. He is kneeling down on one knee and has his rifle slung over his left shoulder.
