Postcard of several lines of text and printed images regarding the Danish Cultural Center. At the top left, there is a line drawing of the "Pioneer House," which, according to the caption beneath it, was "one of the pre-1900 houses, restored and furnished to reflect the early lifestyle of the Danevang pioneers." The small image shows a a two-story house with a smaller, single-story structure in the background and two flag poles in the foreground bearing the American and Danish flags. The drawing opposite on the top right corner is of a long structure with a mansard roof, which, according to its caption, is the museum. It is "reminiscent of an old Danish barn, it houses artifacts of the early days of the immigrants plus displays of farming, community life and Danish culture." In the very center, there is an outlined image of the state of Texas, with a tiered, bold line of text in red that reads, "Danish Culture Center." They are joined by a couple of children and, according to accompanying information, Pastor Kyhl, who is presumably the man on the farthest right of the photograph. The women, the majority of them in late age, wear long, dark-colored dresses and have their hair pinned back. The two-story structure behind them has a shingled overhang supported by a row of columns that runs across the front. An early automobile model is seen in the very distance. Danna Insurance Agency
Composite photograph of Danna Insurance Agency (two photographs have been taped together in the back). There is a parked car in front of a single-story structure on the right side of the image. The front door of the structure bears a sign that reads "OPEN", and is flanked by double-hung windows with shutters on each side. A few feet away to the right, a trailer park bears a "Danna Ins. Agency" sign, as well as a second sign with smaller text which cannot be read with certainty. Both structures have been painted in a beige color. Telephone poles and their wires can be seen in the background, as well as a few trees and tall grasses. The years 1978 and 1985 have both been provided as founding dates for the agency.

[Dr. John J. Pendergrass Obituary]
Clipping from Dr. John J. Pendergrass' obituary, who passed on January 17, 1948. The text gives a biographical account of the doctor's education, family background, and retirement to Wharton county. It continues on the second page with anecdotes of his charity work. It ends with a small list of his surviving family, including his wife, two children, a sister, a brother, and five grandchildren.

[Duus Family Holiday Greeting Photograph]
Two photographs of the same image of the Duus family, which were used as a holiday greeting card and have been placed together with the aid of a small piece of adhesive on the back of the right photograph. The portrait of the family positions Pastor Vagn Duus on the leftmost side, holding a young a boy. The pastor's wife, identified as Gerda Duus, is in the middle, holding a baby in front of her and Sybil Duus on the right. The two boys have not been properly identified, although names have been provided in accompanying information (Verner and Erling). Berndt between 1896 and 1970. Photograph was taken a short distance away from a lawn that has been cut short. Small red flowers and bushes line the edge of the house and a small patio that has been bordered off by a green picket fence. Four double-hung windows are visible, as are shutters painted the same green color of the fence. Dark-colored shingles cover what appears to be an intersecting gable roof.
