Wright announces a meeting of the Board of Trustees of Hardin-Simmons University and stresses his request that Carswell attend citing the many changes at the University and the interest shown by Carswell in the Sandefer Memorial Building. Wright closes the letter with an appeal to Carswell to "be on hand―we need you."
