Art is an essential element of education

Jay Gates, the director of the Dallas Museum of Art is contributing in a collaborative project to build art education computer software for schoolchildren. The collaborative effort is a funded project by the Edward and Betty Marcus foundation where the Dallas Museum of Art will be working with the University of North Texas to develop this program.
