Description: Letter from Harris Leon Kempner to S. J. Hay explaining that he is glad to help solicit subscriptions for the Texas Research League, but he is extremely busy so it may be difficult. He mentions his presidency at the American Cotton Shippers Association, his eldest son's marriage, and a trip that him and Mrs. Kempner plan to take to Japan in May as things that are keeping him busy. He attaches a copy of a letter he is sending to several people to hopefully get their subscriptions.
